Louisiana Coastal Services, Inc. (LCS) is a multi-disciplined professional service firm committed to the unique legal and policy issues impacting south Louisiana. Accounting for 40 percent of the entire wetlands in the continental United States, Louisiana's coast is literally safeguarded by its own statutory jurisdiction (La. R.S. 49:214.24). With so many different areas of influence, one can easily be blindsided in their planning and/or operations with out a comprehensive understanding of south Louisiana's complex environment. LCS was created to protect clients from these potential risk and to enhance opportunities for clients that may not be fully aware of the resources available in coastal Louisiana. LCS' operations are carried out in the 4 following divisions:
1) LCS Law Group
2) LCS Title Group
3) LCS Land Brokers
4) LCS Grants & Management
LCS is a veteran-owned small business certified by the Louisiana Department of Economic Development. Our objective is customer satisfaction. Our purpose is to deliver Louisiana's coast to the next generation better off than we received it. This is possible through concerted effort and shared knowledge.
"Treat the earth well. We do not inherit it from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
- Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority's 2012 Master Plan
"... [T]his does not mean that man should stop modifying nature; it means that careful study and planning must precede projected modification to make sure that there will be a net benefit to man, not just a temporary economic benefit for a vested interest."
- Jason P. Theriot, "American Energy: Imperiled Coast"
